Back in August, we told you about the brand new edition of The Writer’s Tale which is due to be published in the New Year - and its cover and details have now been released by BBC Books!

The book, which is appropriately titled The Final Chapter, features all the original content, as well as 300 pages of never-before-seen emails detailing the correspondence between outgoing showrunner Russell T Davies and Benjamin Cook, as production begins, continues and ends on the 2009/10 specials, culminating in the final specials which will transmit at the end of the year.

The Writer’s Tale: The Final Chapter, which has been described as the most comprehensive and personal account of Doctor Who ever published, will be available to buy from January 14th 2010, at the RRP price of £16.99.
