Torchwood Series 4 WILL be 13 episodes!
November 30th, 2009
John Barrowman appeared on Steve Wright in the Afternoon on BBC Radio 2 earlier today, where he confirmed that, after much speculation, the previously announced fourth series of Torchwood will be taking the series back to its original 13 episode format!
“We’re discussing the future of Torchwood, because most definitely it will come back to the BBC,” the actor told listeners. “We’re not sure when, because we have to work out the logistics of the filming. It’s already been said that it’ll be 13 episodes, rather than 5.”
Pre-production for the new series is scheduled to start in January 2010.
AWESOME! WOOP WOOP! TORCHWOOD ROCKS!!!
YES! Much as I thought the five part story was brilliant, it would be difficult to maintain. The tried and tested 13 ep series is a much more reliable method, and really, who’s complaining about more?
Yes! Much prefer this type of series because it allows lots of range.
I LOVED Children Of Earth, but I want to see 13 NEW stories from Torchwood, not just 1.
Cannot wait for it to return
