Scripts for Tenth Doctor’s final specials now online
The scripts for the Tenth Doctor’s final episodes have been released via the official Writer’s Tale website, to accompany the updated edition of the book which was published by BBC Books today!
Full scripts for The Next Doctor, Planet of the Dead, The Waters of Mars and The End of Time Parts One and Two are now available to view in PDF format, as well as the previously released scipts for Partners in Crime, Midnight, Turn Left, The Stolen Earth and Journey’s End, all from Series 4.
The Writer’s Tale: The Final Chapter is available to buy now, at the RRP price of £16.99. The book features all the content included in the original 2008 release, as well as 300 new pages of never-before-seen emails detailing the correspondence between outgoing showrunner Russell T Davies and Benjamin Cook, as production begins, continues and ends on the 2009/10 specials. The first book helped me out so much as a tv writer. It taught me loads of rules and how to write ideas down. I never know how I coped without this book

Ordered it off Amazon yesterday, but it’s coming after The Specials box set
Personally, it’s nice to get another screenwriter’s view of the scriptwriting process to aid with… scriptwriting.
