]]>But since these figures are made public, I thought I’d add my opinion, as much of a mistake as that’s unfortunately proved to be.

Many people have worried about this years figures, but they’ve been fine. Have they always reached Tennant proportions? No, but he gradually became a huge star and drew people in, perhaps Smith will do the same. And if he doesn’t, who cares, six to seven million, in this modern TV age, is still a great audience. Even more so if you take audience share, the percentage of people actually watching TV at that time, into account.
