No way BBC America will transmit something 50 minutes long in a 60 minute timeslot. I did notice that "Day of the Moon" flowed a lot better on iTunes than when I saw it on BBC America; I don't know if that's just because of the commercial interruptions (which were sometimes a bit jarring, as Doctor Who is not designed around commercial breaks) or if there was actually some trimming going on.
