Well, Moffat said that when the 11th Doctor Daleks come back, they’ll bring the 9th/10th Doctor Daleks back with them.

So the “teletubby” Daleks, as I call them, will be an officer class, whilst the gold, metallic Daleks would be more on the front line.

Hopefully, he’ll keep to his word on that one.

@stetsons are cool He always seems to have a female companion these days even when he has a male one too. For different it would have to be not an earth female at the very least and probably would need to not be female.

“In the last place he could ever have expected”? So is the new companion going to appear while he’s redecorating the Tardis’ downstairs loo, or something?

I’d like to see a non-human companion. Or a non-contemporary one. Would just be a bit interesting, everyone’s been modern-day Earth since the revival.

@Grace Of course there are similarities; The Doctor has always been a sort of Holmes-esque character; he's the bigger than life person who's smarter than everyone else and can solve mysteries/foil the bad guy.
