Mary will be missed by all true Whovian fans I started watching when she was on with Tom Baker whom I had a huge crush on Tom was envious of her. Goodbye Romana and thank you Mary Tamm. @->–

Such a beautiful woman. So absolutely gorgeous! A terrific actress. Unfortunately, I only knew her as Romana on Doctor Who. I know that she’s recorded new stories on CD with Tom Baker. I hope to get my ears on them some day. Much too young. She has crossed over and is now where the real fun is. God bless her and her family and friends.

Heart breaking news as we head into the 50th anniversary next year. She was the classic Romana, aristocratic, haughty but underneath a genuine caring companion in the show best years. 2013 will mark the last appearance of Romana 1 with big finish 4th Doctor season 2. The last 18 months have been dreadful for Doctor Who losses. With love to her family and friends.
