She can be so irritating at times when she teases us otherwise tbh I really like her character even her being Amy's child because personality wise they are alike in how they tease the Doctor which is pretty funny. I loved River's performance atop the pyramid in TWORS absolutely superb. Cannot wait for her return in series 7 :) Like JC I have mixed feelings for River. The 10th Doctor met her for the first time as she met him for the last, knowing everything about him including his real name. That was interesting and I thought the unfolding of her story over future series would be to, but I'm not so sure now. It's more complicated than it appeared it was when it started out. The Doctor isn't meeting River in reverse order, but is actually meeting her at different points in both their timelines. He's met her when she died in Series 4, when she was a baby in Series 6, and everything in between in Series 5, 6 and 7 and perhaps beyond, before finally saying goodbye to her before she goes to the library. Like everything Steven Moffat, it's complicated and according to him, that apparently makes me "fairly stupid". Having said that, I don't mind the character herself and there's something quite attractive about her, despite her being old enough to be my mum, lol I don't really mind that River Song is coming back, it makes sense when her parents are about to leave the show, but I just hope the timeline from her Birth to the Library becomes a bit clearer as time goes on.
