So much to enjoy in this episode. Reminded me of the Eleventh Hour, fast paced and delightful. Favorite scenes… Doctor…I Know, dinosaurs, on a spaceship…. Rory…I don’t have a Christmas list…Doctor…I do! Amy…I’ll have no firting… Doctor…What did you do to the Silurians? The list goes on and on. I’ve already watched it twice, now I am wondering what was cut out of the American version. As usual I will have to wait until the season is released on CD to find out.

@JC i forgot about the doctor kissing rory until i read ur comment rorys disgust made me laugh lol ill have to watch the eipisode again on bbc 1 player today as i allways watch an eipisode the day after again so i see it twice so i can pick up on things i missed the first time around :)

As for the Doctor kissing Rory, it was a little surprising but not that shocking.

In Series 1, Jack Harkness kissed the 9th Doctor and David Tennant kissed John Barrowman in real life, I believe, at Comic Con or something like it.

Admittedly, it was the Doctor kissing Rory and also, his father-in-law, but still … lol

I think some people are taking this script way too seriously. Now last week, I was expecting big, I was expecting end-of-series big at the start and what I got was a completely pointless episode.

This week, we got a silly episode, dinosaurs on a spaceship. It didn’t take itself seriously and nor should it have. That’s the main problem for me with the Matt Smith era, it’s so serious and slow-paced.

Sometimes, you need something to break the ice, making sure Doctor Who isn’t such an uptight s.o.b show I personally feel it has come since Moffat took over. Like last week, in my dislike of Asylum of The Daleks, whilst it’s a shame not everyone could take it in the same vein as I did, it doesn’t affect my opinion.

As for Richard Hope being in the episode, he’s listed as a different Silurian in the credits. It’s sort of like how Neve McIntosh has played three different Silurians.

i loved the whole rorys dad thing he was really funny when the doctor asks him whats in his trousers and he replys balls and brings out 2 golf balls lol rorys face was a picture he even coverd his face with his hand and i loved the way the doctor ended the eipisode the way tennet did by getting the baddy properly and not blow him up with love r just reverse everythin g as i think these endings r a load of bull but it eneded properly with the doctor not careing what happens next to soloman and that just brought back memoreys of old who i had a tear in my eye when the triceritops was murdered unjustly just out of cruelty all in all i loved this eipisode and last week i never thought i would so ive come full circle now next week a town called mercy is the eipisode iv been waiting for :)

Awful, a complete mess from start to finish. When will they stop letting Chris Chiball write for the show because hes not up to the job. A million miles away in terms of quality compared with last weeks episode. Shoddy effects, a turkey of a script and some weak performances means this is the worst story of the Matt Smith era so far!

I’m not really sure how I felt about that episode. Pretty average to be honest. The robots really annoyed me. They said a big death only turned out to be the villain who else? I thought it may have been the Queen who died. The dinosaurs weren’t much of a threat except towards the end with the raptors. Quite an average episode sad to say but if I watch it a 2nd time then maybe I might enjoy it more. Mark Williams was great as was Rupert Graves. Was nice to see some action albeit not much and was interesting to see Malokeh yet again (Silurian) who was supposed to be dead yet appeared in the Wedding of River Song in an alternate timeline so I guess thats understandable but also appearing in tonights episode. 3/5 for me.
Wonder why we have not yet met Rory’s mum yet though. Is anyone else bothered by this?

Big, funny, blockbuster fun with a lot of darker moments and concepts. As others have said, Rory’s Dad was ace, sad they didn’t introduce him ealrier!
