I used to be a modder, so I've had a glimpse at the hard work and time that goes into making a game. Obviously, mobile gaming is growing in popularity as well, which is where your game slots in. My previous post was what I think in terms of larger scale games though. Doctor Who is never going to get a massive AAA, 1st or 3rd Person title with expansive worlds that launched across the Playstation 4 and Xbox One consoles because it's not practical. The big developers probably wouldn't be interested in such a game and it's difficult to know if the wider Gaming Community would either. Even if they were, they'd probably ruin it as they have in the past with other franchises. I have one big developer in mind, but won't name them and obviously the development cost would be astronomical, which they'd likely not get back in sales. In that sense, I think the BBC should give up on the Video Game market. They're never going to be able to have a AAA title with mass market appeal across the latest consoles and PC, even though it sometimes feels like they're barely attempting it with the smaller Developers. If they're going to make games, I think mobile is probably the realistic limit. That's not to put down mobile gaming, which as I said is rising in popularity, it's just a market where they're more likely to have success than the traditional big consoles. @Lee Cummings (tiny rebel games)

It is dull and boring! What I want is a game you get on with, not having to wait a lifetime to do something with the game. This is why Doctor Who is so far behind all other games! Mia - we started our worldwide rollout yesterday. Our intention is to be out everywhere we possibly can be. We launched in Australia, Taiwan, USA, Canada, NZ, UK and a few other places last night, and in the next 24 - 48 hours we plan on rolling out another set of countries. We're going slow to make sure that as many Whovians get the best possible experience. JC - sorry you feel that way. The game is made by two indie teams who love the show, and since the game is free you should really try it out --- would love to hear what you think of it.
