Good points Sean.
]]>‘Heaven Sent’ gave us an insight into how quickly the 12th Doctor thinks, giving him enough time to almost conference with himself to work out a solution, with the questions he should be asking himself appearing on the blackboard.
The episode itself was quite immersive and kept me interested up until around 10 minutes before the end, when the pace went into overdrive with the revelation that the Doctor was caught in an almost infinite loop. It was like the story had been strolling along and then had hit an icy patch that sent it sliding towards the end.
I think I’ll have to watch it again to understand why the skulls, the teleport room and the harder-than-diamond wall were constant or were allowed to change whilst the rest of the rooms returned to exactly the same configuration.
As for the Doctor’s return to Gallifrey and his pledge to conquer it and the Time Lords for what they’ve done, it felt out of character for the Doctor I know and I think what he does next will demonstrate whether his behaviour risks the title ‘The Doctor’ more than The War Doctor did.
]]>I remember when you could say what you through on here and people accepted it and a discussion was had about the episode good and bad bits, not told to watch another channel.
We keep watching the show weather we like what he is doing to it as it is doctor who some thing we love and enjoyed and hope and wish it will be as good as we remember it in the old days and not an off shot of Sherlock.
