Katherine Jenkins has revealed that she has now finished filming for this year’s Doctor Who Christmas special.

Earlier today the The Welsh opera singer tweeted: “I’ve finished filming all my scenes for Dr Who now… Feel really sad as I enjoyed it way more than I thought I would! Lovely people!” In addition, Danny Horn - also appearing in the special – recently confirmed he’s wrapped filming too, posting: “And once again back to the realm of the unemployed. Amazing month.

With production on the episode now drawing to a close, it’ll enter post-production over the next few months ready for its transmission this Christmas. This means that filming for Series 6 will commence imminently – keep it here for the latest developments!
