Doctor Who Magazine #418 details

February 4th, 2010

dwm-418-coverThis month’s edition of Doctor Who Magazine was released across the UK today, and inside the latest issue, brand new showrunner Steven Moffat comments on how he immediately knew that Matt Smith was perfect for the role of the Eleventh Doctor!

“It was very obvious it was him,” he said. ”It was just a really, really good audition. More than good acting - he just had the tone of it straight away, the fun of it, the nuttiness of it… the unselfconscious nuttiness of it! Because, let’s be honest, Matt is unselfconsciously nutty. That’s what he’s like!”

Apparently, (I haven’t got the issue yet) Steven confirms that this series will be released as Series Thirty-One, rather than Five or One. Can anyone confirm this? Thanks.
