More set pictures from recent filming!

The Sun have today posted a few more images taken on location during recent filming for the forthcoming series of Doctor Who!

As we previously reported, this week scenes - believed to be for episodes 7 and 11 of the new series - have been filmed involving Amy Pond (Karen Gillan) holding a fish on a plate, the Eleventh Doctor (Matt Smith) pushing a trolley bursting to the brim with household objects, and the latest incarnation of our beloved Time Lord having a kick about with guest star James Corden! All in day’s work, eh?

And the pictures released today by the tabloid depict the Doctor mysteriously falling out of the TARDIS and staring up in horror at the blue box. Just what is going on? Feel free to share your theories below!

Filming for Series 5 is expected to wrap in just under three weeks time, and it will begin airing on BBC One/HD at Easter.

    It is widely believed that this episode is an adaptation of popular DWM comic strip ‘The Lodger’, which focuses on the Doctor living life on Earth for a week after the companion (Rose in the comic, Amy in the adaptation) and the TARDIS slip into a time fissure and get stuck a second behind reality. The Doctor has to live a normal life while he waits for the TARDIS to reappear, as he knows it will.

    However, this theory does not explain why the Doctor has been seen running out of a housing estate, or collecting rubbish/junk. It is also believed that the popular DWM comic strip has been expanded upon to fit in the format of a regular 45-minute episode.

    Um… what?

    @ChildofTime
    Ooh, interesting. And yeah, I guess you’d have to expand massively upon a comic strip! Blink was adapted from a short story, and that was brilliant - in adapting something, you’ve already got the basic idea so you can spend your time pushing it a bit further.

    Less than a month to go now!!
