Steven Moffat has promised that fans won’t be left disappointed with the resolution to Series 5.

As The Mirror reports (don’t click if you’re avoiding spoilers!), the showrunner has teased: “I really do think episode 13, the episode we’ll see on Saturday, is a story only Doctor Who can do – no other show could have come close to a story like this.” Regarding the Episode 12 cliffhanger, which he admitted was a ”pickle”, he noted: “I think the Doctor can take it.”

The series finale, The Big Bang, airs this Saturday at 18:05 on BBC1/HD.
