New TARDIS prologue and screenshots revealed
It’s nearly time for the release of TARDIS, and the official site has continued their countdown today with the release of its prologue, in the form of a short sequence by James Moran entitled Wish You Were Here.
To whet our appetites even more, there’s also a new gallery featuring some intriguing screenshots of the interactive episode, as well as some desktop wallpapers. In addition, read on for the official synopsis of the game, which canbe downloaded for PC and Mac from tomorrow.
With the TARDIS caught in a time riptide, it’s up to Amy to save the day or leave the Doctor trapped in the void forever. Meanwhile, a dangerous entity is roaming the TARDIS corridors and it hasn’t been fed for a very long time…
Fans outside the UK will be able to purchase TARDIS from Direct2Drive shortly after.
I am so excited!!! Though my boyfriend has to play it for me so i can see what happens. I am ridiculously bad at computer games! I get too jittery and scream a lot. Still, i can’t wait to find out what happens!!
I won’t repeat my usual whine about the Mac version not being made available internationally (oops! too late!) but I will say it’s cool they’re adding extra stuff like the new short story (which, fortunately, is available to folks outside the UK – it’s just video and videogames that are blocked off from the drooling masses). Back to the international release, I hope they don’t wait too long, since they don’t have the “don’t want to spoil the finale” excuse to go on anymore.
@Alex
The BBC website says the game will be released overseas tomorrow, so no need for a long wait
