The Sarah Jane Adventures start date confirmed!

After much speculation, the BBC Press Office has finally been updated with the transmission details for The Nightmare Man - the two-parter which will be opening Series 4 of The Sarah Jane Adventures!

Part 1 will debut on the CBBC Channel at 5:15PM on Monday 11th October, with Part 2 airing the next day on the channel at the same time. Part 1 will then have its BBC Two premiere the day after that, at 4:30PM, followed by Part 2 on BBC Two on Thursday, again at 4:30PM. Got all that?

If not, here’s all the times, dates and channels you need to know so you don’t miss out!

The Nightmare Man (Part I) – Monday 11th October, 5:15PM, CBBC Channel
The Nightmare Man (Part II) – Tuesday 12th October, 5:15PM, CBBC Channel
The Nightmare Man (Part I) – Wednesday 13th October, 4:30PM, BBC Two
The Nightmare Man (Part II) - Thursday 14th October, 4:30PM, BBC Two

PART 1 - Sarah Jane’s adopted son, Luke, faces life-changing events on Monday and Bannerman Road will never be the same again when he has his first nightmare and is haunted by a dark figure from his dreams. A strange entity is reaching out to our world, with terrible consequences for the whole human race.

PART 2 - With Luke, Clyde and Rani trapped in a bizarre dreamscape, Sarah Jane must fight alone. As the Nightmare Man grows stronger, only K-9 might hold the key, but can Luke summon the courage to face his adult life before the whole world becomes trapped in an endless nightmare?
