McCoy would be ‘delighted’ to return for anniversary
Sylvester McCoy has revealed that he would be ‘delighted’ to return to Doctor Who for the rumoured multi-Doctor 50th anniversary special.
Speaking to BBC News to promote his new play, Decline and Fall, the Seventh Doctor actor admitted: “Would I do it? Yes, I am a part of it, it hasn’t ever gone away and I celebrate the 21st Century Doctors. The fans are hoping that for the 50th anniversary, which is coming up, they might do something like that.”
He continued: “It would be fascinating with all the technology if they could bring back Jon Pertwee and William Hartnell. I bet they could do it if they wanted to.”
BRILLIANT! Please let McCoy be in the 50th anniversary show Moffat, it’ll be amazing, McCoy was a brilliant and underrated Doctor, he should be given the chance to shine again, it’ll also soften the blow when I role my eyes at all the Tennant fan girls getting exicted if he returns, I’ll enjoy it if McCoy returns
AHHHHH!
YES!! I’d LOVE to see all the Doctors in one special! Somehow!
do it do it do it
heehee
That’s a hell of a cast if they do it. I mean in terms of numbers as well as awesomeness. Following eleven different people around? I’d hate to be the one writing that.
