My Sarah Jane: A Tribute to Elisabeth Sladen
Although yesterday was a day full of excitement for Doctor Who fans, there was also a level of sadness, as the CBBC Channel paid tribute to Elisabeth Sladen, who passed away on Tuesday, aged 63, after a battle with cancer.
The 15-minute special – entitled ‘My Sarah Jane’ – featured interviews with just some of those who had the privilege of working with Elisabeth, including David Tennant (The Tenth Doctor), Matt Smith (The Eleventh Doctor) Anjli Mohindra (Rani), Tommy Knight (Luke) and Daniel Anthony (Clyde).
It was watched by an audience of 0.71million (4.1%), and is now up on the iPlayer.
I think they could have jetted over a copy so that BBC America could have also shown it
not avalable on Iplayer 4 those of us here across the pond in the states, SO NOT FAIR
It was quite nice, not too sad but very moving. Everyone really liked Elisabeth.
Long Live Liz Sladen. She was the best as the Dr’s assistant and she will be dearly missed. R.I.P Elizabeth Sladen.
