Ahoy there, mateys! As the Doctor and his Stetson ride off into the desert horizon, it’s time to cast our mind’s yonder to next week’s episode, The Curse of the Black Spot!

When the Doctor, Amy and Rory find themselves marooned onboard a pirate ship whose crew is being attacked by a mysterious and beautiful sea creature, they must join forces with the implacable Captain Avery to uncover the truth behind the pirates’ supernatural fears. That is, if they themselves don’t fall under the Siren’s spell…

The Curse of the Black Spot will air Saturday 7th May on BBC One at 6:15pm.
