Bill says Miracle Day “throws the world into chaos”
The first episode of Miracle Day was premiered in Swansea yesterday, and at the event BBC News interviewed one of its stars, Bill Pullman, about what we can expect from the new 10 part story.
“No one’s dying, which seems like a good idea, but then it’s not,” he explains. “People don’t get better, they just hover at whatever stage they’re at, and so that requires a lot of resources and medicines and what not. It throws the world into chaos, and the storylines explode in the first episode.”
The actor plays Oswald Danes in the series, who has previously been described as “a convicted child killer, both guilty and unrepentant”. “Yeah, he’s the lowest of the low, the most reviled person you could ever imagine,” he adds. “He’s suddenly making this journey into people’s consciousness and developing his own power and a following.”
