It was revealed today that David Tennant will be making his debut across the pond in a brand new 60-minute NBC comedy pilot entitled Rex Is Not Your Lawyer!

The actor has been cast in the lead role of Rex, who has been described as being a top lawyer from Chicago who coaches his clients to represent themselves in court after he begins suffering from panic attacks.

The dramedy will be directed by David Semel, who has previously worked on the pilot editions of Heroes and Life.
