More Series 5 speculation from The Sun

February 26th, 2010

amy-pond-februaryThe Sun newspaper has today thrown some more Series 5 speculation into the mix, this time regarding the Doctor’s new companion, Amy Pond.

Like the majority of their reports are, their latest appears to be largely based on what they’ve picked up from recent filming developments. Today they claim that the character, who will be portrayed by Karen Gillan, will (highlight to reveal) discover that she’s pregnant halfway through the new series.

“It’s all part of a strange dream she’s having,” their source explained. ”She can’t work out what’s real and what’s not.”

As always, treat this news with a pinch of salt for now, and feel free to discuss your theories below. The next series of Doctor Who starts on BBC One and BBC HD in April.

    BTW, if (like me), you have news.whoviannet subscribed to via RSS, the text appears anyway on the RSS screen!!! Fortunately, I’m one of those people who likes spoilers, even if this one seems a little bit farfetched and irrelevant to anything.

    *Reads last clause* Gosh, I’m in a bad mood, aren’t I?

    @TSG

    Thanks for that pointing that out, TSG! We’ve shuffled the post about a bit to avoid any further problems.
