Filming latest: There’s something fishy going on here…

Filming for the fifth series of Doctor Who is reaching its end, but, with only three weeks left before the series enters its post stages of production, there have still been surprises aplenty, with various random objects, including a fish, a football and a trolley, popping up on location in Cardiff over the past few days!

As The Sun reports, Matt Smith and Karen Gillan were spotted on set shooting a scene outside the TARDIS involving a fish on a plate (no… really!), and earlier this week fans gathered to watch the Eleventh Doctor actor take a trip down memory line and show off what he had originally hoped as a teenager to take up as his professional career – football! The scene in question, with guest-star James Cordan, featured the Doctor dribbling the ball and scoring a goal. Is there no end to his talents!?

Meanwhile, another scene followed the Doctor as he left a house pushing a trolley which was full of household junk. Could it have anything to do with the winning entry of the Blue Peter Design a TARDIS Console competition, perhaps?

The scenes being shot are thought to have been for episodes seven and eleven of the new series, which begins on BBC One and HD next month! Stay tuned for the latest!
