Please join us today in raising our glasses as we send out our best birthday wishes to John Barrowman, who, of course, portrays Captain Jack Harkness in Doctor Who and its spin off, Torchwood!

The actor is celebrating his 43rd birthday, and is spending his day in Los Angeles busy filming his guest appearance in the US drama series, Desperate Housewives. His episodes will air in the US this Spring and in the UK around May/June.

    How are you doing in filming Torchwood, and I bet that you are still multi-tasking with everything else while filming. Anyway, happy birthday, and i hope that the weather out there isn’ t too hot, but i do hope hope that you have the best birthday ever. And, what I’ m going to give you is all my love, and the fact that I will still be here when you come home when you have finished filming.
