Doctor Who stage show, tour dates announced
A new Doctor Who stage show, reported by The Scotsman yesterday, has been officially confirmed by the BBC!
The arena tour will see a selection of the Doctor’s iconic foes – including the Daleks and the Cybermen – battle it out live on stage, with new scenes recorded especially for the occasion by Matt Smith and Karen Gillan! The action will be accompanied by a 16-piece orchestra, conducted by Murray Gold, who will be peforming both classic tracks from the series as well brand new arrangements.
Details of the show are being kept tightly under lock and key, however we have been told that it begins against a backdrop of a war-torn London, and showrunner Steven Moffat has noted that he will probably be “attending every single night”!
