Final ratings set in stone for Flesh and Stone
May 10th, 2010
The final viewing figures for Episode 5, Flesh and Stone, have today been set in stone by BARB.
The episode was watched by an official audience of 8.50million, with 8.02million watching on BBC One, and an additional 0.48million tuning in on the BBC HD channel. The statistic makes Doctor Who the tenth most watched programme of the week, behind Britain’s Got Talent and episodes of Coronation Street and EastEnders.
As an American fan, I’m waiting to see Flesh And Stone next week. It’s nice to see that the episode did so well in the ratings; I’m looking forward to it. One thing I would like to throw out there to my fellow Dr. Who watchers: I’ve been reading many theories on where the series is going; all about the ’silence’ and ‘the Pandoric’ and the ‘cracks’. But has everyone forgotten that Amy didn’t know anything about the Daleks in episode 3? Why not? Is the Doctor possibly in the wrong universe? Think about it: the entire series so far could be taking place in an alternate universe. Thoughts?
its a good theory about being in a different universe, very interesting thought.
