Amy Pond actress Karen Gillan appeared as a guest on The Graham Norton Show last night, during which the host personally responded to the controversy surrounding his untimely appearance at the end of The Time of Angels, which sparked over 5000 complaints.

At the start of the episode, he joked: “Recently I achieved a lifelong ambition - I appeared on Doctor Who. Yes, I secured the prestigious role of Man Ruining the End of the Episode.” You can watch the moment below:

    Ah well at least he addressed it and took the complaints in jest. to be fair it was never actually his fault for the cartoon

    That wasn’t too bad actually, I thought he’d be a lot nastier about it, but the way he dealt with it was funny and as Pirko said, it wasn’t personally his fault.
