The Sun have today posted a picture of Matt Smith and Lindsay Duncan taken on set of the new BBC2 drama, Christopher And His Kind, in which Smith appears as the protagonist, celebrated author Christopher Isherwood.

Duncan, who played Adelaide Brooke in The Waters of Mars, portrays Isherwood’s mother in the 90 minute film. Production will continue for the next few weeks, before Smith returns to Cardiff at the end of June/early July to begin filming the Doctor Who Christmas special.

This isn’t the first time Smith and Duncan have worked together - they’ve previously appeared together on stage in That Face.
