The official Doctor Who website has today posted a new BBC Wales preview of The Hungry Earth!
The episode, written by Chris Chibnall, airs tomorrow night at 18:15 on BBC1/HD, and is the first part of the long-awaited Silurians two-parter. In 2015, the most ambitious drilling project in history reaches deeper beneath the Earth than man has ever gone before, but when the Doctor, Amy and Rory arrive, they are drawn into battle with an evil from a bygone age. It’s nearly Saturday, folks!
Strange how the Team have changed the Daleks and humanised the Silurians!
@Steve
Who’s to say that they cant humanise these creatures? Silurians is an overall term to cover all creatures from that period (and is technically incorrect as they are from earlier than that.)
For example, the Sea Devils in thier first adventure are classified as Silurians and given the nickname Sea Devils. Now, these creatures are clearly differenct to the original Silurians, but still of the same classification. The same can apply to these creatures as well.
So to have these creatures as “humanised” is perfectly fine and acceptable.
well, there are hundreds of differnt types of monkeys, and they are all classed as monkeys. same as cats and dog ect.
