Plot details for Cold Blood released
The BBC Press Office has today released the official synopsis for Series 5 Episode 9, Cold Blood.
It is the most important day in the history of Earth: the dawn of a new age of harmony or the start of its final war.
The Doctor must face his most difficult challenge yet. It is a battle in which he cannot take sides and a day when nobody must die…
The episode, part two of the Silurians adventure, is written by Chris Chibnall. It’ll air on BBC One/HD at the provisional time of 6:25PM on Saturday 29th May, with the slightly earlier starting time seemingly allowing the BBC to accomodate both Doctor Who and the Eurovision Song Contest (which takes place the same evening) this year. Geronimo!
Meanwhile, finalized schedules have confirmed that Episode 8, The Hungry Earth, will transmit on Saturday 22nd May at 6:15PM on BBC1/HD.
“Just this once, Rose… Everybody lives”!
So, in how many episodes of the new series has everyone lived? Well, the Empty Child/Doctor Dances… Fear Her, no one died there. Blink – well, not of unnatural causes. Turn Left, people died but the timeline was rewritten… No one died in the Eleventh Hour, and no one we saw in the Beast Below…
Six. And I bet someone’s going to comment and inform me that I’ve forgotten deaths in the last two. Well then, this episode is going to be quite a challenge for the Doctor!
@TSG
Ahh, sarcasm!
@TWWL
No, it wasn’t supposed to be! That’s six out of… is it sixty eight, now? Less than one in eleven! It really will be a challenge!
@TSG
People did die in The Eleventh Hour, the Doctor that Rory was with got murdered by Prisoner Zero.
@Sean
Thank you. We’re now down to five out of a possible sixty eight, which means that’s less than one in thirteen.
in this episode rory (amys boyfriend) leaves because on wikipeida his name is not in the cast list.
