News has surfaced today that the first Adventure Game, City of the Daleks, has been downloaded half a million times since it was released for free on the official website earlier this month!

Of the figure, controller of portfolio and multiplatform at BBC Vision, Simon Nelson, told MCV: “The result is a lot more than I was expecting. We had set ourselves some fairly stretched targets on this and we’ve blown them away. The credit goes to the Doctor Who and marketing teams.”

He added: “Crucially, the industry and the audience have felt we have created something different here that works. That’s probably more important than the numbers.”
