Back in February we brought you the nominations for the 2010 Saturn Awards, and the ceremony has now taken place, with Torchwood walking away with the Best Presentation on Television prize!

While there were no wins for Doctor Who itself (David Tennant was up for TV’s Best Actor, won by Lost’s Josh Holloway, while Bernard Cribbins was nominated for TV’s Best Guest Starring Role, won by Leonard Nimoy from Fringe), its spin off managed to beat Planet of the Dead.

We would just like to say a huge well done to all concerned! Earlier this month, the BBC confirmed a fourth series, featuring Jack and Gwen alongside “new faces”.
