Doctor Who Live monster line-up unveiled!
BBC Worldwide have unveiled the 11 monters who will be taking to the stage in the highly-anticipated Doctor Who Live arena shows later this year.
The intergalatic line-up consists of the Daleks, the Cybermen, the Weeping Angels, the Judoon, a Silurian, the Smilers, the Winders, the Scarecrows, the Vampires, the Clockwork Droids and the Ood. The 25-date tour will be stopping off in 9 cities and will be bursting with non-stop excitement, adventure and suspense.
Kicking off in London (October 8th-10th), the production will visit Sheffield (October 12th-13th), Glasgow (October 14th-17th), Birmingham (October 18th-20th), Manchester (October 22nd-24th), Nottingham (October 25th-26th), Cardiff (October 28th-31st) and Liverpool (November 2nd-3rd), culminating in Belfast (November 6th-7th).
A 16-piece orchestra, conducted by composer Murray Gold, will be peforming an array of tracks both new and old, with added FX, optical illusions and state-of-the-art pyrotechnics. Showrunner Steven Moffat has also written new scenes featuring the Doctor and Amy, which will be played on a big screen throughout the story.
