Matt Smith made a surprise guest appearance at this year’s Glastonbury last night, taking to the stage with Orbital to introduce their techno remix of the Doctor Who theme tune.

As the iconic music began, the Eleventh Doctor actor told cheering fans, “Let me hear you cheer! Let me hear you roar!” – and that they did!
