The official synopsis for Episode 13, The Big Bang, was revealed via the BBC Press Office today, providing us with a brief taster as to what’s in store for the Doctor and Amy in the long-awaited series finale!

The Doctor is gone, the TARDIS has been destroyed, and the universe is collapsing. The only hope for all reality is a little girl who still believes in stars, as this series of Doctor Who concludes with an episode written by Steven Moffat.

The episode will transmit on BBC1/HD on Saturday 26th June, though its time is yet to be confirmed. Meanwhile, the broadcast details for Episode 12, The Pandorica Opens, have been finalized. The penultimate episode will air on BBC1/HD on 19th June at 18:40.

    i reckon that the cracks are just simply from the tardis exploding
    and that there is a lot more going on that has nothing to do with the cracks

    This finale sounds so huge. I just hope Amy makes it out alive and returning full time for Series 6.
