Warning if u go to this site its big time spoilers but if u really need to u wont be sorry…
Link removed.
That was reallly epic!
For sum reason thou i didnt like the the sence with all the aleins together, but still good
I reackon the amy actully is dead, the doctor is trapped forever and rivers dead…but in the next episode it is set in the past (well future for them, but in amys past)…around the mid 90’s when amy was a child, so i think that the doc is gonna change history 2 prevent it from ever happening, also in the eleventh hour when amy is sitting there waiting for the doctor, you can hear the tardis noise and amy looks up at the sky and smiles..
Serisly thou, great episode 9/10
Lost 1 point for the sontarins( i hate them lol)
btw
What does everyone think that the real threat is in the whole story??
Sum ppl think its omega…i think its a new threat
and also
When we saw the last scene of the earth, what the hell were all the things around the earth?? they looked like explosions or fireworks or sumthing
sorry didnt think the link wouldnt be put up sorry…seen big big spoiler photos for the big bang..loads ov young amy in a musseum standin near the pandorica…dose she let the doctor out?…and a lot more but dnt wanna spoil it to much for ya…
@Steve
i think they are either the space ships exsplodin or all the stars goin at once like the doctor said wat will happen if the tardis gose BANG!!!!…
Oh dear… such an epic episode *phew*!!! I have to admit, it took me until “Vincent” to be able to… well, at least half the way accept the 11th. Since “The Lodger” Matt Smith’s won my heart somehow (not because appearing naked but showing his football skills *gosh!*
I can hardly wait for the “Big Bang”!!!
@Steve
Those were galaxies surronding earth being erased, I think.
Ahh ok thanks..
Also I wish that there was a next time trailer for the big bang! Hopefully the bbc release one later
Yeah, it seemed like everything was being erased, and right before the credits Earth disappeared and there was silence for a second.
Now, logically I know that the Doctor will save the day, but I just cannot fathom how. This episode was brilliant, brilliant, brilliant!! Loved it. I agree with FirstofTen(th) that this series only really got me excited from ‘Vincent’ onward. But never mind that now; bring on 26/06/2010!
(I love how the day the universe is supposed to end is the date of the final episode)
Also (sorry to post again), I don’t care what anyone says, I love River Song, and I want to know who she really is! (That was *not* an invitation for spoilers, btw )
And it’s really sad about Rory being an Auton, but I was still glad to see him again! I hope he can come back as a real human, but if Amy is the companion in series 6 then chances are she won’t have a husband, right? :/
I keep thinking… Amy cannot be dead but then I visit the Doctor Who Official Site and they have all this Goodbye, Amy and Tributes to Amy. Anyone else think that Miss Gillan has been misleading us with her “shooting for Christmas” stories??
@Sean
I think many children visit the official site and they want to keep the illusion for them – it’s a greater surprise when they’ll find out she’s not dead (hopefully on the next ep!)
A++++ The best ever episode in all it’s history, for me yes, the story, the acting and the effects were breath taking.
So many twists and turns it was like a 2 hour movie fitted into a 45 min slot and boy it was good.
Moffat has proven that he is the right man to take doctor who to the next level, with story and casting he has done us fans proud.
Although last night’s episode was great and the finale is looking to be epic and will maybe be one of my favourite episodes so far depending on how things go, it’s worth saying that Matt Smith is still not my favourite Doctor and unfortunately, I don’t think there’s anything he or Moffatt could do to change that.
Having said that, I have to admit that the 11th Doctor might now be my second favourite, replacing the 9th, which I didn’t think could happen before Season 5 started and for the first few episodes.
@Steve Didn’t they do that “Goodbye” thing with Rory though? Maybe she will be reincarnated as a roman, and they will both be a matching couple
@Sean

@Sean
Nope. Amy’s back in Series Six, but the way that happens would spoil Episode Thirteen. All that can be said is that Episode Thirteen is most likely not an episode where the Doctor saves the day *hint hint*.
Well, having been a fan/viewer of DW since 1975, I think I can safely say that I watched one of the best episode of them all last night.
This was, as many have already said, EPIC. It was everything I’ve always wanted in an episode: dark, thought provoking, atmospheric, exciting… meshing real history, historical figures and places with fantastic fiction and storytelling.
Great story, amazing effects, brilliant acting.
I also love River Song. Alex Kingston is utterly watchable, and that her character has become a DW icon isn’t a surprise.
I’d been looking forward to the scene with Amy carrying the torch backing away from the Cyberman since seeing it in the awesome “Coming Soon” trailer after The Eleventh Hour. It didn’t disappoint. One of many highlights last night.
I know Who has been back for five years now but I still have to pinch myself sometimes.
It’s so bleedin good!!!
@Whobase
Yeah they did do that with Rory but Rory is still dead, the “Rory” we saw in yesterday’s episode is just an auton created from Amy’s memories
@TE
I understand about the Series 6, but Billie Piper did say she would continuing for a while so that Doomsday was a surprise.
