The Big Bang – what the press said
The whole universe seems to be talking about last night’s spectacular finale, The Big Bang, which, according to The Telegraph, was an ”interesting and enjoyable” conclusion to the Eleventh Doctor’s debut series.
The Guardian describe the episode as ”a classic modern fairytale”, while SeenIt are full of particular praise for Matt Smith and Karen Gillan, who have “delivered the goods each week”. Metro also enjoyed the episode, noting that it ”captivated and confused in equal measure”.
SFX have given the story a full 5 stars, complimenting its “very, very clever story arc”, and, over on Twitter, write Paul Cornell (Father’s Day, Human Nature, The Family of Blood) tweeted: “Doctor Who triumph. Cheering. Floored fans. Mythic grandeur”.
You too can spill the beans on the finale over at our episode discussion, here.
i like the way they kept the story arc going….. we still don’t know who controled the TARDIS, we don’t know what the silence is and we don’t know who river is properly.
Technically, “the whole universe” didn’t watch it because how do you know that there is life on other planets. How do you know “the whole universe” have Televisions. Exactly.

Er, trying to keep out of the argument here but: what exactly is that supposed to mean? Doctor Who is a family show, not really a children’s show.
@TE
What?
Its nothing to do with that fact. I like Doctor Who. But I was just stating a fact and some childish person has to butt in (Not you too by the way or WhovianNet)
