We want your questions for Nick and Phil!
We’re delighted to reveal that we’ll be attending the Bad Wolf convention this weekend, and while we’re there we’ll be interviewing two of its guests, Nick Briggs and Phil Ford!
Nick Briggs has provided the voice of the Daleks in the revived Doctor Who as well as the Cybermen and the Judoon, and also appeared in Children of Earth. Phil Ford co-wrote the 2009 special, The Waters of Mars, and also penned the animated Dreamland. More recently, he put pen to paper for City of the Daleks, the first Adventure Game.
We’re thrilled to have been given the opportunity to speak to them, and, of course, we’d like you to get involved too, so if you’ve got any questions for either/both, please leave them in a comment on this story. We’ll pick a handful of the best and put them to Nick and Phil at the event. Please submit your questions before 9AM on Friday. Thanks!
Any chance of ever seeing Paul McGann’s Doctor back in the series? I’d love to see him crossing paths with Matt… or somekind of flashback to his final adventure. All the other Docs got swansongs, can we have one for the Eighth. Get Steven Moffat on it pronto!!
My question for phil:
Is working on the adventure games easier than writing a script for a episode of Doctor Who?
My Question for Nick:
Did you have to watch old epiosdes of Doctor Who to get the voice of the Daleks and Cybermen and did you need to do any research?
To nick:
Whats It like Voicing such An iconic Character and also which one of the new Daleks is your Favourite?
To Nick :
Which monster do you like voicing the most.
I sent my questions by e-mail, would have been quite a big post here.
Thanks for the opportunity you’ve presented us with though Whoviannet.
Nick Briggs-Which alian do you wish you had voiced?
Phil Ford-Where do you get your inspiration from for your writing?
thanks
Nick, how did you become a voice artist? I’m 26 and love doing Dalek voices (My mum keeps saying “You’re not a Dalek”) and was wondering how you get into it?
