As filming for this year’s Christmas special continues in Cardiff, its guest star Katherine Jenkins has revealed via her official Twitter that actor Danny Horn will also be appearing in the festive episode.

Jenkins posted: “We can’t tell you what he does/is or we’ll have to kill you!”, while Horn himself recently tweeted: “Back to The Tardis I go, this time for Christmas Dinner. 6 hours of eating Christmas dinner with The Doctor. WHO’S COMPLAINING?”

We’ve been promised that the Doctor’s yuletide adventure this year will be his most Christmassy yet, when he finds himself in a “fun-filled and heartfelt” story alongside newlyweds Amy and Rory. Filming will continue in South Wales until August.
