BBC Books have released the details of their first ever graphic novel, The Only Good Dalek, written by Justin Richards and Mike Collins.

When the Doctor and Amy arrive on Station 7, a top-secret establishment where the Earth Forces send all the equipment captured in their war against the Daleks, they grow increasingly worried about the direction the Station’s research is taking. Its commander knows he has only one possible, desperate, defence.

Station 7 doesn’t just store captured Dalek technology - it’s also a prison. And the only thing that might stop a Dalek is another Dalek…

The Only Good Dalek will be published on 16th September at the RRP of £16.99. You can see its cover artwork below, while a preview of its opening pages can be viewed here.

This cover is the second cover I have seen. The other was off David Tennant and the Bronze Daleks. Not as inspiring as the other cover, have to say. Seems odd that they did the book and then redrew it.

Excellent to hear though it being the first graphic book is erroneous. There is a doctor who graphic book that compiles various doctor Who comics: Doctor Who Omnibus
