Inside the new issue of Radio Times (24th-30th July), a ’School’s Out’ special to mark the beginning of the summer holidays, an array of the nation’s favourite stars answer a selection of questions sent in by children.

Eleventh Doctor actor Matt Smith is quizzed by Jack, aged 13, who asks: “What makes you different from previous Doctors?” Matt says: “I’m younger, so my skin is a bit smoother. What would you say makes me different? Bigger ears?”

Elsewhere in the magazine, Doctor Who showrunner Steven Moffat writes about his new series, Sherlock, co-written with Mark Gatiss, which starts on Sunday 25th July.

You can read all the Doctor Who related goodness in Radio Times, out now priced £1.10.
