Another thought just struck me. It has been revealed that someone returns whom we haven’t seen since the War Games. Here another crazy idea but what if the 2nd Doctor returns. Moffatt might be trying to bridge the gap between the 2nd and 3rd Doctor, because the 2nd Doctor’s appearance in the 5 and 2 Doctors contradicts the 2nd Doctor’s history, and fans have created a fictional Season 6B which has further adventures of the 2nd Doctor. Well guess what,Moffat is making Season 6 and he has split it into 2 parts (part A and B). So my new prediction is the cliffhanger at end of 6A involves the return of the 2nd Doctor. Do you think Moffat is nuts enough to try and do this?

I wouldn’t exactly call Nixon one of the best.

Right then let’s start with River. Firstly I don’t really like the idea of her being the Doctor’s wife, and after that prophecy in The Big Bang about everything changing I believe it even less. It was a bit to cryptic to just mean he’ll become domesticated and play happy families with River. So it’s clear she’s going to be something much more important than just his wife.

In my opinion I’ve always thought she was a grown up version of Jenny (although the flirting with her dad would be kinda disgusting lol) but still I think it’s possible because we all know Jenny survived and flew off into space but the Doctor still doesn’t know so to him it would be one hell of a reveal for him personally.

I think this is more backed up by rumours that Jenny is going to make a return played by someone other than Georgia Moffatt and how it was Steven Moffat’s decision to bring her back to life in The Doctor’s Daughter while Russell T Davies was still in charge, something he’s tried to brush over when he’s questioned about it.

As far as who she killed I really have absolutely no idea! Because it seems unlikely it’ll be anyone but the Doctor but then again how could he die? Although that could be how he can tell someone his real name.

I can’t picture her being Jenny.

My own theory is quite out there, but I reckon TARDIS exploded when Doc10 was regenerating into Doc11. That destroyed the Universe. Somehow the whole Universe was saved in some other place (like how Donna was saved and lived another life in the computer core in Silence in the Library).

I think the library story (being River’s introduction) is very relevant. The cracks were perhaps the outside real universe trying to get into this fake one. They sealed the cracks, so they are still blocked off from the real universe. River is important because I think she is the one who saved the whole universe, and she is somehow running things from the computer core on the library planet. There are a lot of allusions to fairy tales, dreams etc, so this looks like hints that the whole universe is living in this false universe. And perhaps she needs to kill the Doctor in order to transfer his consciousness from this fake universe to the real one. I’m rabbling abit, and I can’t wait to see how things turn out.

I would like to point out, that if you watch the official series trailer, around 0:37, you will notice that there is a shot of something exploding in the TARDIS. except, it’s not Matt smith’s TARDIS. on close inspection, you’ll find that the console, arches and flooring is all to familiar. that is the 9th/10th doctor TARDIS.
So, could this mean the return of David tennant’s Doctor?

Everyone is talking about at 0.38 in the trailer its the old TARDIS set and everything and are saying is David coming back? What I don’t seem to see mentioning alot is are they seeing the 9th Doctor’s regeneration he regenerated in that TARDIS as well so could meen Chris could be coming for a cameo..Of course both are unlikly I don’t think will see them again until the 2013 anivversary special which according to SM ‘They are thoughts about it’ Also If either of them came back it would take away from the series a lot as its only Matts second series and to throw a popular Doctor into it so early on after they have left if it’s David would be unfair and take away from Matt’s brilliance as a Doctor…I have no problems having them together for a special like I think will happen in 2013 though ..Those are my thoughts on the matter.

There have been no sightings of Chris Eccleston or David Tennant on the set Rose, so I’m inclined to think it’ll either be their Tardis but not their Doctors, or a Tardis that just looks like theirs. In this case though, the interior could be explained, but not the exterior also looking like a Police Box.

I don’t think Amy is a Time Lady for multiple reasons and I wouldn’t want her to be. Bringing back too many Time Lords and Time Ladies too quickly would, I think, make a mockery of the Last Great Time War

Yep @JC it’s all just the excitment of the idea and stuff but I bet SM got something Timey WImey and sneaky and unexpected up his sleeve for why that TARDIS looks like or is the same TARDIS? and yep like I said I wouldnt want them to come back at all as it wouldn’t be fair on Matt at all and not right for the show…Bring them back for the hopefully anniversay special in 2013 away from the series.

he says.. they are your worst fears, as in each character has a monster that they are scared of , their worst fear,. The person the doctor is speaking “fear me ive killed hundreds of time lords” is himself , because he is scared of himself

I believe that the silence could be regenerating in the old tardis but it could be a return of David or less likely chris or even paul but i think that that will be a bit far out

In the new trailer i just sore the 10th/9th or the 8th doctors tardis. I think that its the 8th doctors tardis because that tardis could of been around before the 9th doctor and that creature might ofbeen omega regenerating.

The “someone or something” that hasn’t been seen since the end of The War Games and is returning…is likely to be the original Tardis interior that hasn’t been seen since then. We have already seen that the 9th/10th Doctor’s Tardis interior will feature, so logically also an earlier one will. It may all be a part of the Tardis’s transformation into the character Idris.
