French Whovians have recently launched a new online petition to get the full fourth series of Doctor Who released on DVD in France!

The appeal will eventually be sent to Mr Rostein of France Television Distribution, the distributors of Doctor Who DVDs, and it’s hoped that it will encourage him to realise that there is a “real base of fans and a growing popularity for this series” in the country, offering the signatures as proof that there are “many potential buyers”.

While Series 1, 2 and 3 have been made available, fans have also urged for future Doctor Who DVDs to be produced at a higher quality, after previous releases have seen no special features, French dubs incomplete and even full episodes completely missing.
