Matt promises a ‘mind-blowing’ Steven Moffat script
The Metro has a new interview with Matt Smith in which he discusses the exciting times that lie ahead for Doctor Who!
At the top of the agenda is Series 6, which as we type is being filmed in Cardiff. As ever, things are shrouded in secrecy, however Matt did have this to say about one of its Steven Moffat-penned stories… “God, I wish I could tell you the other thing he’s just written, which is just mind-blowing. I think he’s delivered his best script yet. I can’t say anything about it, but it’s bloody brilliant.’
Before we get to see it, we’ve got this year’s Christmas special to enjoy, and the Eleventh Doctor actor has reassured us that it’s full of “lots of snow and twinkly lights”!
He explained: “We’ve got Michael Gambon playing a Scrooge-like miser with a time travelling twist - and I think it’s really, really good. I think it’s full of the right heart and soul for the season. Steven has, once again, written something brilliant.”
Regarding Neil Gaiman’s anticipated Series 6 episode, he teased: “It’s going to be a real one for the Who fans, I think they’re going to love it.” We think we are too!
God I wish he could tell us too…
