    Seriously, I will. But perhaps I’m not anyone?

    Look, one of the benefits of the Age of the Internet is what one Wired editor has called “the long tail” — the fact that whatever it is you’re looking for, even if only three other people on the planet are looking for it, can be found somewhere. That’s a cool thing. Cooler than fezzes. If you see something that isn’t for you, figure it’s for one of those three people and move along quietly. Go find your weird thing that no one else understands and enjoy it.

    At the risk of sounding very controversial this song was the WORST ORIGINAL XMAS SONG doctor who has made. I found it deeply annoying. It was nice to have an original song again for the xmas special (as they have been missing from The Next Doctor & The End of Time) but this just did my head in

    At the risk of sounding very controversial this song was beautiful, haunting and sinister all at the same time. References to an ongoing problem for the Doctor! The song so beautifully sung by a singer in her first staring roll. This has knocked all previous songs out of the water, based purely on the emotion and depth played on screen by Katherine Jenkins. It complimented a true Christmas classic.

    @Steve
    Agreed. This was the best original Christmas song Murray has composed so far, beautifully performed by Katherine.

    @pirko
    What ARE you going on about? Who said anything about Moffat (except yourself)? The only other name I see on this thread is Murray, the composer of the song.

    Yeah… leaving behind talk of Moffat and going back to the song, I like it. It’s supposed to be a Christmas carol-typed thing, though that isn’t much reflected in the lyrics, but it was beautiful. Katherine’s voice is… well, it’s amazing. So yeah, I like it. :)

    I think you have the first verse missing – I’m sure it is “When you’re alone, music is all you know” (but couldn’t make out the last line).
