Lily Cole to play a ‘mysterious creature’ in new series

The official Doctor Who website has confirmed that model and actress Lily Cole will be guest appearing in the new series.
Cole will be playing a ”mysterious creature that haunts a pirate ship”, and said of the episode:
“It is a great script and fun character and I’m glad to be involved.”
Cole has previously appeared in St Trinian’s and The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus.
The website has also promised that they’ll be revealing more casting updates shortly!

It’s funny, because Hugh Bonneville had been tweeting about Lily Cole being involved for days before the official site admitted it was true. A breakdown in communication, methinks.
