Vincent and the Doctor has been nominated at the 2010 Nebula Awards!
The episode – written by Richard Curtis – is up for the Ray Bradbury Award for Outstanding Dramatic Presentation, and Doctor Who is the only TV series to be shortlisted, facing competition from movies including Despicable Me, How to Train Your Dragon, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World and Toy Story 3. The results will be announced at a special banquet in the Washington Hilton in Washington, D.C on May 21st.
my favorite episode of the series
Much deserved! The best episode of the whole series
If Vincent and the Doctor wins, that would be a remarkable achievement for both Richard and Doctor Who.
Awesome! One of the best in the series so far!
I truly feel that not only was “Vincent and the Doctor” the best episode of Series 5, but I also believe it to be one of the absolute best episodes of “Doctor Who” ever aired in the program’s entire history, 1963 – present day.
Then, besides that, I also believe “Vincent and the Doctor” to be one of the absolute best episodes of ANY television series ever aired.
“Vincent and the Doctor” will win the award.
Blimey. Toy Story 3, Inception … that is some good company to be seen with!
I feel like such a fraud… I preferred Amy’s Choice this series…
But anyway, marvellous that VatD has been nominated and good luck to it and its creators!
