Today is a day of almosts. It’s almost the weekend, which means that it’s also almost Series 6, and, as part of our countdown, we’re looking at The Almost People!

The penultimate episode of the new spring series forms the conclusion to a petrifying two-parter. Details are being kept tightly under wraps, but from what we do know, it’s probably much better that way, as Steven Moffat has described the story as “a brief but terrifying insight into the mind” of its writer, Matthew Graham.

According to the showrunner, the adventure will particularly appeal to fans who “have always longed for a movie about an alien shape-changer and an industrial dispute”, but he added that we’ll all “probably want a little sit-down afterwards”. We’ll hold you to that!
