The Telegraph has released a new featured interview with Karen Gillan, in which she discusses various things relating to the Doctor Who universe.

Talking about what she and Matt Smith get up to between takes, she reveals: “Matt has taken to hiding in my trailer and then jumping out and screaming at me, “I’m going to get you!” It’s the scariest thing”, and she also gives an insight into how they spend their evenings in Cardiff. She admits: “You have this one hour that you really treasure.”

She adds: “We always eat these Nairn’s crackers. They’re amazing. I have an image of us shovelling hummus and oatcakes in our mouths; it happens every night.”

The Impossible Astronaut airs on Saturday 23rd April at 6pm on BBC One/BBC One HD.
